We all know the Parish doesn’t run itself on fresh air. There are numerous expenses both ongoing and one off that have to be funded by our Parishioners. In early 2007, the finance committee made a heartfelt plea to the congregation at all the weekend masses about clearing the debt that was bestowed upon us after the building of our new Parish Hall.
The response was very good to this appeal and the debt was substantially reduced. A big thanks to all who contributed so generously. The balancing of the books are the job of our finance team and we salute them for their effort
In the Christmas Edition of the Manor times, you will have seen a form to encourage people in the Parish to give regular contributions to the up keep of the Parish and we encourage you to fill these in and please give what you can.
The Finance team are also involved in organising fundraising events too within the Parish; we will keep you informed of these as they are announced. |
